Our mission is to investigate the molecular pathology, genetic epidemiology of single gene disorders , develop genetic tests for molecular genetic diagnostics, to investigate new therapy modalities for genetic diseases and create a critical mass for genomics by instruction in medical biology in postgraduate courses.

Our vision is to become an "excellence center" performing research and development actvities in the genomics field, plan and execute a dynamic education program, reflecting the new concept of molecular medicine.
